Where every room opens a new door into Saudi culture
Step in, explore, and let curiosity guide you
Wissal is a graduation project created by students from Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, specializing in Applied Linguistics. Our team—Alhanouf Alqahtani, Samah Alghamdi, Shoug Alrokban, and Alanood Alhamazani—developed this virtual museum to bridge cultural understanding between Saudi Arabia and the world.
As aspiring linguists, our goal is to showcase Saudi heritage through the lens of language, pragmatics, and culture, using innovative digital tools to make gaining knowledge and experience both engaging and immersive.
The name “Wissal”—an Arabic word meaning connection—was chosen to symbolize the link between past and present, reflecting how Saudi traditions continue to shape modern identity. It also represents the project’s mission to provide visitors with meaningful insight and cultural awareness before they arrive in Saudi Arabia, offering knowledge and experience that prepare them for authentic interaction.
We believe that language is not only a means of communication but also a reflection of identity, values, and connection—the very essence of Wissal.
We hope this experience inspires you to explore, connect, and understand Saudi culture in a deeper, more meaningful way.
